This is a list of the goals I plan to accomplish in the next two years. As I attempt to make the journey from unhealthy to healthy, both physically and mentally, it is important to have goals that I can not only reach but continue to maintain.
Food
- 30 g or less carbs/meal
- Lower sodium intake
- Cut out caffeine
- 10 fruits and veges / day
- 64 oz water/day
Fitness
- Walking – 10,000 steps/day
- Running – 5k by 1/2012
- Bike: 10-20 mi 3 days/week
- Take a yoga class and decide if I want to stick with it
Health
- A1c below 7.0
- test blood sugar 4-10 times a day
- get to and weigh 185 lbs consistently
- 8-9 hours of sleep/night
Mental
- Create and use a mantra
- Clean room/house/apartment 1-2 days/week
- Dailys EVERY DAY
Professional
- Get a job (internships count – kind of)
- Decide on a career
- GO FOR IT
Personal
- Friend time 3x a week
- Family time once a day while at home, call once a week when away
- Invest in relationships, including with God
- Be a part of a church
- Communicate with God
- Spread the love
