:n. The faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for, especially pertaining to life with Type 1 Diabetes.
Sarahndipity means that things happen that we don’t expect to be good, and they turn into blessings. These things aren’t sought for, and yet they wind up agreeable. Type 1 diabetes wasn’t something I wanted. It wasn’t anything I asked for. Nobody wants their body to attack itself. But the thing about any type of hardship is what it does to the person living with it. I am confident that I would not be who I am today if my body didn’t start rebelling against itself 11 years ago.
Sarahndipity means hope. It means a life filled with “valuable or agreeable” things, normal, everyday things, and beautifully discovered things. Sarahndipity means using my hardship to help myself and, most importantly, to help others.
