This is a list of the goals I plan to accomplish in the next two years. As I attempt to make the journey from unhealthy to healthy, both physically and mentally, it is important to have goals that I can not only reach but continue to maintain.


  • 30 g or less carbs/meal
  • Lower sodium intake
  • Cut out caffeine
  • 10 fruits and veges / day
  • 64 oz water/day


  • Walking – 10,000 steps/day
  • Running – 5k by 1/2012
  • Bike: 10-20 mi 3 days/week
  • Take a yoga class and decide if I want to stick with it


  • A1c below 7.0
  • test blood sugar 4-10 times a day
  • get to and weigh 185 lbs consistently
  • 8-9 hours of sleep/night


  • Create and use a mantra
  • Clean room/house/apartment 1-2 days/week
  • Dailys EVERY DAY


  • Get a job (internships count – kind of)
  • Decide on a career


  • Friend time 3x a week
  • Family time once a day while at home, call once a week when away
  • Invest in relationships, including with God
  • Be a part of  a church
  • Communicate with God
  • Spread the love
